Welcome to the brighthr Tool created by the Council for Administration. The tool has been developed in order to create effective HR documentation for administration staff using the National Occupational Standards (NOS) which are the quality benchmark for NVQs and SVQs in Business & Administration in the UK.

We’ve created eight document templates for key HR documents. All you need to do is complete the required information to populate the template and the tool will do the rest.

The tool will ask you to complete the documents in the correct order to ensure that the essential information is gathered only once and for the appropriate documents.

Because you need to register to use the tool and access your documents, you can be assured that your documents are safe from others and confidential information remains just that..
We’ve also created an advice centre for any awkward questions that you may have about using the tool or even the use for the HR documents once you have created them.
You can open your document in a word version so that you can edit it before you save it to your own computer.
You can then turn your document into a PDF in order to print it and ensure that the information cannot be changed.
